my phones having trouble using this to ask for any diy tips for home security..? New to doing it myself, by myself. A few years ago my 10+ year boyfriend went to a new place and I'd found Jesus and began caring for my property myself for the first time in my life no one else was going to do the things I had learned over the years. Shortly after being self reliant suddenly my home was burglarized. Instead of getting too far into everything let me wrap it up here pretty quick I guess in case I'm not in the right place it looks like there's only a couple members here found your videos on YouTube hoping for any DIY tips not reliant on anything electronic to better protect my property and myself. I have an outswing back door that's been forced open recently again and an outswing front door on a mobile home. Looking for the best solutions to reinforce my doors the locks I trust none I've seen someone open any lock I've ever handed them. I also have a outswing shop door and a roll up door on it as well struggling to find something for those that criminals don't easily trick technology or pick open I've looked into something to drill into its slab it's sheet metal that is easily unscrewed for entry in my opinion from side or back so I wanted to know if y'all had any ideas to share oh and I had hot wire fence when I first came here the box has been stolen and like I say I'm looking for things not reliant on technology to protect myself and home I don't necessarily need fencing ideas but to keep someone from damaging a/c unit or accessing under my trailer have y'all ever dealt with old fashioned crime prevention for those type of things and what can I use to secure my door when I'm not home that is better than just the deadbolts I did actually before coming here get the 2x4 door stop after being broken into I don't have one on my shop the frame of the door is also sheet metal and not very thick bracing around it in order to put that 2x4 stopper there.. mostly can't think of ways to leave my roll up door cracked for the barn cat because the mice can get in either way and it not be able to be opened and how to possibly protect my vital components of my home such as the AC or entire property boundary even if not for human but recently raccoon got into under my trailer I'm looking into a technology-based but motion activated sprinkler system that I'm not a fan of lol thank you for your time hopefully I'm on the right place You look like you have quite a bit experience in DIY hopefully you don't mind offering some ideas for me to try!!
